  • An industry leading 2 year warranty covering all mechanical & electrical parts.
  • All presses are hand built in Milan, Italy. No outsourcing for cheaper inferior parts.
  • Mika Tech heating technology - See platen layout right. Unlike the traditional coil heating element which snakes around the platen, Lotus use individual Mikanit heating rods which span the entire surface area of the platen. This ensures a very fast warm up and even and constant temperature with extended durability.
  • Unlike the standard heat press coil element which if fails, the whole platen as to be replaced, which is time consuming and expensive. The Mikanit individual heating elements that Lotus use can be replaced in-situ, for as little as £25 each.
  • High quality Mikanit surface heating elements are crucial whenever you need to heat a surface quickly, effectively and evenly. At the core of these heating elements is Mikanit technology, "Mika-Tech" for short. 'Mikanit' is high quality mica paper treated with a heat resistant bonding agent. After the treatment, heat and high pressure are used to press several layers of paper into plates.
  • The freestanding support plate of each press allows you to mount textiles easily in a single layer; only the fabric segment to be printed rests on the support plate. Prints previously applied to the textile remain unaffected, and creases impairing the printing result (usually caused by two layers) are easily avoided. This design also allows you to access the lower platen from every angle.
  • A feature of all manual & semi-automatic Lotus presses, is the smooth running hand lever, which makes for effortless operating of the press. Perfect for those very large volume print jobs.
  • Thanks to its modular design, only a single press is required to print shirts, jackets, bags, lanyard keychains, and even caps: a variety of support plates can be quickly and conveniently interchanged. No extra tools needed.
  • The design aspect of Lotus presses is a major feature, as all electrical components can be replaced in-situ, with plug & play parts for the control panel, heating rods and cap sets.
  • Lotus presses are built to last. Robust welds and heavy gauge materials used throughout the each press, ensure they will not warp, flex or bend over time. Did you know, it takes as little as 0.5mm for a press to go out of alignment on either platens for the pressure upon your transfer to be affected.
  • The protective heat resistant Nomex covers on the bottom plate are provided to protect your printing plate from discolouration by eg.Plastisol and to ensure your can slide your garments or textiles effortlessly across the support plate, due to its smooth properties. These covers are machine-washable and can simply be pulled over the pressure plate and held in place with the aide of an elasticated outer band.
  • Heat-resistant and dimensionally stable silicone rubber mat. A pressure plate support for optimum pressure distribution during the transfer process. Small bumps such as seams, buttons or similar, are pressed into the silicone mat so that the transfer surface remains flat.
  • The Teflon cover protects your heating plate from dirt and adhesives, which might burn. This easy-to-clean cover can be simply pulled up and replaced with the Lotus presses with two tension springs.
  • Lotus presses have been known to last over thirty years.
